Foundation Scholarships

The Foundation seeks to raise funds for annual scholarships to be awarded to graduating seniors. The number and award amount for these scholarships will be determined annually by the Board and will be based on the funds raised. The Foundation's first-year goal is to award 2 Foundation Scholarships in the amount of $500 each. Scholarships will be payable to the benefit of the recipient at any accredited college or university.

Recipients of this scholarship must be nominated by a faculty committee from Cross Keys High School and approved by the Principal. Any graduation-eligible senior can qualify. The faculty committee will judge nominees based on the following qualities equally weighted: 1) Academic Progress, 2) Service to Community, 3) Student Leadership, 4) Character.

General Funds

The Foundation will maintain general funds to respond to requests from area schools on a request basis. Items such as classroom supplies, special project materials, and student incentives may be requested by faculty members. The Board will approve items based on need and availability of funds.
